After a rough run in with the authorities, the feline protagonist of Purrfectly Ever After decides she's done with the high stakes world of food theft, wanting to earn her eats honestly. There's not many jobs for cats out there, though, so she wishes to become human, miraculously having her desires granted by a Fairy Godfather. Still, every cat-turned-human needs a bit of help finding her feet, and she just happens to be able to turn to the five people who showed her kindness as a cat to help her. Does telling these guys she used to be a cat work as an icebreaker?

Purrfectly Ever After is an otome visual novel with five different guys to learn about and romance, each with some varied personality quirks. Through decisions filled with drama and comedy, the game is looking to tell a light, heartwarming story as you settle in to figure out which one of these characters is a good match for your protagonist. This might not necessarily be a romantic match, either, as each character has two endings, the second of which could be funny, sad, or touching in some way. There's secrets hidden in the game beyond even the endings involving your choice of beau, too, so there's plenty of storyline to keep you playing over and over again.

Weeev have already done a lot of work drawing up varied backgrounds and putting a lot of detail into your harem of suitors, and has also tracked down some solid Japanese voice actors to give them some audio personality. Still, there could be more pretty places and poses for the characters, which is what's brought the game to Kickstarter. If you want to help this poor cat girl enjoy her newfound life as a human, it'd be worth doing what you can to help Purrfectly Ever After to become a reality.

For more information on Purrfectly Ever After and Weeev, you can follow them on YouTube, Tumblr, and Twitter. The game is also looking for votes on Steam Greenlight and donations through Kickstarter.
