As many of you are already aware, former Nintendo president Satoru Iwata passed away recently at age 55 after a battle with cancer. As part of the outpouring of love and support, developer and artist Lucy Morris of Group Pug has organized an art tribute to the man whose work influenced so many people.
Starting on Twitter in the #thankYouIwata hashtag, Morris decided to inquire if people were interested in joining in the tribute. After some responses, she decided to organize the tribute properly, with the end goal of a blog post and Imgur album after two weeks. A Google Doc has been created to keep track of those participating and the finished works.

Some artists have already completed pieces, and the list should continue to grow over the coming days. If you would like to contribute to the tribute, send a Tweet to @lucyamorris with the hashtag #thankYouIwata.
